About Khayangan Estate
Khayangan Estate is a private clifftop property in Pecatu, on the Bukit Peninsula near Uluwatu, made up of ten antique wooden houses brought over from Java and restored as guest quarters. Its lawns run to the cliff edge about 140 metres above the Indian Ocean, and the estate has its own cliffside spa. It is not a hotel: the estate is booked as a whole, so the wedding party has the houses, gardens and lawns to itself for the length of the stay.
For events, the estate sets a minimum stay of three nights on a full-estate booking, and its published event rate covers those nights plus one day of venue use for the ceremony and reception. Functions can take up to 250 guests, so couples can invite more people than the houses sleep and bring the rest in for the day. As with most private estates, couples usually appoint a wedding planner to arrange catering, styling and entertainment.
The clifftop position brings strong winds in July and August, so marquee, lighting and décor plans should allow for gusts in those months. The estate is close to the Uluwatu surf beaches and clifftop beach clubs, which gives guests plenty to do across a long weekend. Rates are quoted net and vary by season, and the estate's team confirms the final figure once dates and numbers are set.
