Wonderland Uluwatu

An events estate on 10,000 square metres of oceanfront clifftop with three spaces that can be reconfigured: a hand-carved Javanese joglo with a glass roof, The Point above the beaches, and a clifftop pool and field with a mirrored pavilion. Basic venue hire lets couples bring their own planner and suppliers.

About Wonderland Uluwatu

Wonderland Uluwatu is an events estate rather than a hotel: about a hectare of land on the southern Bukit coast with more than 110 metres of cliff edge above Nunggalan and Nyang Nyang beaches. The owners kept it as a private retreat for some fifteen years before opening it for events, and the design practice Word of Mouth laid it out as three separate spaces joined by narrow jungle paths, which can be booked alone or together.

The Joglo is a carved teak house from Java, more than a century old, set under a glass roof, with room for 60 at a cliff-front ceremony and 120 at dinner. The Point is a circular deck on the cliff for ceremonies of about 40, and The Pool has a lawn and the mirrored Reflections Event Space for 150, with up to 300 seated around the pool. A small cliff garden takes 30, and the bridal suites are air-conditioned with their own bathrooms.

The estate is a dry hire: there is no in-house catering, tableware or accommodation, a planner is required, and couples may use any suppliers with no vendor fees or corkage. The team recommends planners and rents out its own furniture and a branded tuk-tuk. Amplified music stops at 11 pm, a refundable security deposit of IDR 14,450,000 applies, and the balance is due 60 days before the event. Marquees are advised for wet-season dates or groups over 100.
