Tirtha Uluwatu
A dedicated wedding estate on the Uluwatu cliffs with two settings: the original Tirtha Uluwatu chapel above the ocean and the newer Glass House. Packages cover Christian, Catholic and Muslim ceremonies as well as reception-only events, and an in-house team handles styling and coordination.
About Tirtha Uluwatu
Tirtha Bali is a wedding company that runs its own venues on the Uluwatu cliffs rather than a hotel with a wedding desk. Its first venue, Tirtha Uluwatu, opened in 2003 around a glass chapel about 100 metres above the sea, with the Heaven and Earth reception rooms, the open Glass Stage on the cliff edge and a Cliffside Garden. The second, Glass House by Tirtha, is a private garden estate with three bedroom suites, the glass-walled Plumeria Room and the open-air Moonlight Garden.
Packages are quoted on enquiry and named after the setting: Eve, Audrey, Scarlett and Celeste use the Tirtha Uluwatu chapel, the air-wedding deck or the indoor ocean-view room, while Alice is a garden wedding at the Glass House. Separate packages cover Catholic weddings (the rite at St. Silvester Church, then a reception at Tirtha), Indian Hindu weddings with your own Indian caterer, Muslim ijab qabul ceremonies and reception-only bookings. Each one includes a planner, floral styling, photography and film.
Executive Chef Ryoichi Kano writes the menus, mixing French cooking with Japanese technique, alongside buffets, vegan options and food carts. Tirtha Uluwatu seats up to 350 for dinner when the Dining Pavilion and Cliffside Garden are combined, both venues have lifts and accessible restrooms, and every outdoor reception has an indoor back-up. Beyond the Glass House suites and a package at Villa Bayuh Sabbha, a five-room clifftop villa, guests stay at partner hotels, with drop-off transfers after the reception.
