About Maya Ubud Resort & Spa
Maya Ubud Resort & Spa covers 18 hectares on the eastern edge of Ubud at Peliatan, running from the entrance down to the Petanu River valley. It has 48 suites in the centre of the resort and 60 private villas spread along the valley and rice-field sides, plus a spa by the river and the Tree Bar. The wedding team is in-house and handles planning, set-up and coordination on the day.
Four spaces are used for weddings: the Ceremonial Plaza, a long walkway facing the jungle canopy for ceremonies of 50; the Amphitheatre, a 994-square-metre lawn above the river valley for receptions of 150; the Tree Bar Terrace for 100; and Mayasari, which holds 70 and doubles as the wet-weather option. Packages range from an elopement with a celebrant and two nights in a forest suite to the Eternal and Everlasting Matrimony packages for 40.
The current brochure lists the Dreamlike package at IDR 150,000,000 net for 50 guests and IDR 200,000,000 net for 100. It covers four hours' venue use, decoration, canapés, a buffet or three-course dinner, sound and lighting, and two nights in a pool suite or villa for the couple plus two suites for family. Extras include Legong and kecak dancers, fire dancing, string players, bridal make-up and a legal wedding registration service.
