Bali Wedding Butler is a Kerobokan company founded in 2005 by Komang Sri Desyana Squires, known as Desyana, a Balinese planner from Singaraja who began in the wedding trade in 2003. It is mainly known for legally registered weddings for foreign, mixed-nationality and interfaith couples, and has organised hundreds of them, alongside commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, elopements and honeymoon arrangements.
Indonesian law requires a religious ceremony followed by civil registration, and both partners must declare the same recognised religion. The team runs both steps on the same day at the same venue, processes the documents with the religious and government offices, and advises on the certificate of no impediment and sworn translations. It covers Catholic, Protestant, Buddhist, Muslim and Balinese ceremonies, and can also arrange notarial marriage agreements.
Ceremony and elopement packages carry no separate coordination fee. Couples adding a reception can hire the team for full planning or on-the-day coordination, and it can source décor, catering, music, photography, transport and Balinese costumes. Settings include private pool villas, beaches, clifftops, chapels and water venues, and a legal elopement package pairs the ceremony with a one-bedroom pool villa or a sunset beach venue.
