Small Bali Wedding is a registered agency in Denpasar, trading as PT Bali Journey Creation, that specialises in intimate weddings, elopements and vow renewals. Its planners include Mery, who began planning weddings in 2015, and Putri, who returned to Bali in 2019 to work in events. The team arranges symbolic ceremonies as well as the religious ceremonies needed for a legal marriage, from Catholic and Protestant church weddings to Hindu and Buddhist rites.
Vow renewals and commitment ceremonies are led by an English-speaking officiant, with bilingual ceremonies on request, and follow a personalised script. Packages include a bouquet and buttonhole, simple floral décor such as an arch and aisle petals, a coordinator on the day and a symbolic renewal certificate. Photography is an optional upgrade, priced by hours of coverage and number of edited images, as are hair and make-up, video and a private dinner for two.
Venue costs are separate and vary widely between beaches, gardens and private villas, and the team can book one or suggest options; partner hotels in Sanur, Nusa Dua and Benoa are common choices. For a legal wedding, both partners must declare the same religion and supply passports, birth certificates, a certificate of no impediment and photographs, and the team guides them through the registry process.
