Bali Wedding Butler

For couples who want the Bali ceremony to be legally binding, this team supplies an English-speaking priest for Christian ceremonies and completes civil registration on the same day at the same venue. It also covers Catholic, Buddhist, Muslim and Balinese ceremonies, plus celebrants for commitment ceremonies and vow renewals. The legal package includes paperwork, certificates, a coordinator and two hours of photography.

About Bali Wedding Butler

Bali Wedding Butler was founded in 2005 by Komang Sri Desyana Squires, a Balinese planner from Singaraja who started in the wedding trade in 2003. The Kerobokan team has organised hundreds of legal weddings for couples from abroad and for mixed-nationality and interfaith couples, and covers Christian, Catholic, Buddhist, Muslim and Balinese ceremonies, so couples can marry legally in Bali rather than holding a symbolic ceremony and registering at home.

For a legal Christian wedding, an English-speaking priest leads the ceremony and the civil registration follows on the same day at the same venue. The legal package covers document processing with the religious and government offices; couples bring a certificate of no impediment from their embassy, and documents in other languages need a sworn translation. Commitment ceremonies, same-sex commitment ceremonies and vow renewals are led by the team's celebrants with a personalised script.

Celebrant-only bookings are available, with travel costs added for ceremonies out of town, and the script can include rituals such as handfasting, sand blending, ring warming or a Balinese blessing. Commitment and vow-renewal packages add flowers, a flower garland, a certificate and two hours of photography with 50 edited images. The team charges no coordination fee on basic ceremony or elopement packages.
