About Capella Ubud
Capella Ubud is a camp of luxury tents designed by Bill Bensley in the rainforest at Keliki, north of Ubud, styled after the expedition camps of 19th-century explorers. Each tent has its own saltwater pool and is furnished with antiques and campaign-style pieces, and the camp runs along the slopes above the Wos River. Its restaurants, Api Jiwa and Mads Lange, and a small bar serve guests within the camp.
With only around two dozen tents, weddings are full buyouts for up to 50 guests, which gives the couple sole use of the grounds for the duration of the stay. Ceremonies are held by the river, and the dinner is prepared by the camp's own kitchens. The format suits small, private weddings spread over several days rather than large receptions, with the whole wedding party staying in the tents.
