About Gusmank Photography
Gusmank Photography began in Sanur in 2010, when Bali-born photographer Gusmank started taking wedding commissions. It has since grown into a small group of associate photographers, including Eka and Satria, who share his way of working. The team photographs weddings and elopements, engagement and pre-wedding sessions, surprise proposals, honeymoons and family portraits, and also travels abroad for destination weddings, with no travel fee added to those packages.
The look is soft and airy, with a film-like finish and plenty of natural light. Portraits are lightly guided rather than posed, so couples are given simple prompts and left to enjoy each other. After booking, the team sends a contract and invoice, helps plan an engagement session if one is included, and suggests locations that suit the couple. Wedding packages come in four, eight and twelve-hour versions with two photographers.
Recent work spans resort weddings at Four Seasons Ubud, Sofitel Nusa Dua and Six Senses Uluwatu, clifftop days at The Ungasan and smaller private villa celebrations around the island. Fine-art albums can be ordered once the gallery is delivered, and for couple sessions the studio can arrange transport or a hair and makeup artist, which makes it easy to plan a pre-wedding or honeymoon shoot from overseas.
