About Beyond Makeup
Beyond Makeup is a makeup artist management company founded in Bali in July 2016 by Yenny Gunawan, a professional artist with more than ten years of experience who regularly attends international makeup conferences and courses to keep up with new techniques. She leads a team of trained artists who take on weddings, pre-wedding shoots and events across the island, from intimate villa ceremonies to large family weddings.
Bridal work ranges from soft, modern looks to full Indonesian wedding makeup, so the team can cover a Western ceremony and a traditional outfit change on the same day. The company also runs the Beyond Makeup Academy, with group and one-to-one classes for beginners and aspiring professionals. A good fit for larger families who need several artists working on one morning.
