About Venema Pictures
Venema Pictures is a photography and film studio working from Bali and Jakarta, with around 15 years of weddings and more than 300 couples behind it. The team covers grand ballroom receptions, resort weddings and small beach elopements, and adapts its approach to each, from a large multi-camera crew to a small, discreet team. It also travels abroad for couple sessions and destination weddings, with recent work as far afield as Italy.
Its films are cinematic and emotive, guided by four values the studio sets out for itself: genuine, lively, artistic and timeless. The aim is for each film to feel like a time capsule of the day, with the couple's personalities at its centre. Recent work includes Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua and Kaba-Kaba Estate. Photography can be booked with the film so the stills and video share a consistent look.
