Kepitu Restaurant At The Kayon Resort

Kepitu is the main restaurant of The Kayon Resort, north of Ubud in Kenderan, and takes its name from the neighbouring banjar (village community). It sits at the centre of the resort with a wide view over the pool and the jungle valley, under a roof of ironwood, bamboo and alang-alang grass shaped like a kayon.

Lunch is light, with sandwiches and salads, while dinner mixes Western and Asian dishes with a signature Kepitu menu served in a Balinese royal setting. A weekly Balinese culture dinner and a Tuesday Taste of Indonesia night with live grill stations round out the programme, and the floating roof-deck dining space by the Kumbakarna statue is a favourite for romantic dinners.
