Chontea Ubud Tea & Matcha House

Chontea is a calm tea and matcha house set back from Hanoman Road in central Ubud. It works with a Japanese hospitality approach and keeps a long list of teas, from gyokuro and pu-erh to several single-cultivar matcha grades.

Signature drinks include ceremonial matcha, a pu-erh tonic and the 'Dirty' matcha series, served with Japanese sweets such as dango. Seasonal omakase-style tea pairings and matcha whisking workshops are also offered.
