Aunty Ji's

Aunty Ji's is an Indian restaurant on Batu Bolong Beach Road in Canggu, part of the Eatopia hospitality group. The concept pays tribute to Indian aunties and their home cooking, and the room is decorated like a family home with vintage Bollywood posters, stained glass and mismatched crockery.

The menu runs from street-food small plates such as pani puri, vada pav, papdi chaat nachos and Chicken 65 to tandoor dishes like malai broccoli, paneer tikka and lamb seekh kebab. Curries include Aunty Ji's butter chicken, smoky dal makhani, Kashmiri rogan josh with Australian lamb and a Goan fish curry, with naan and biryani on the side. The bar adds Indian-inspired cocktails such as a tamarind margarita and a lassi gin smash.

Most mains cost Rp 100,000 to Rp 200,000. It suits groups who like to share, families and vegetarians.
